Terms of Service
Effective 14 October 2026
1. Who these terms are with
AI Department is operated by Verisance Corporation Sdn Bhd (559820-V), a company registered in Malaysia (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are allowed to bind it. Contact: admin@verisance.com.my.
2. What the service is
AI Department is a subscription service that uses AI to do marketing work for your business — writing content, making images and videos, SEO and AEO work, research, and (as an add-on) answering your customers on WhatsApp. You give it information about your business; it produces work for you to review, approve and use. We also sell courses, each as a one-off purchase (section 8).
3. Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secret and for everything done through your account.
- Give us accurate account and business details, and keep them up to date.
- One account is for one business. Tell us at admin@verisance.com.my if you think someone else has used your account.
- The service is for businesses and is not meant for anyone under 18.
4. Free trial
New businesses get a free trial period with no card required. The trial has smaller allowances than a paid plan, and it ends automatically — we do not start charging you when it does. A business that has already trialled or subscribed is not eligible for another trial.
5. Plans, add-ons and billing
- Plans and add-ons are billed monthly in advance, in Malaysian ringgit (MYR), and renew automatically until you cancel. The current prices are shown at checkout and on your Billing page; those pages are the authority, not this one.
- Where a plan is offered by the year, it is billed yearly in advance and renews automatically each year until you cancel. A yearly plan is one whole plan: add-ons that are billed monthly cannot be added to it. During the year it can be changed to a larger yearly plan, with the difference charged straight away, but not to a smaller plan or to monthly billing.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Adding an add-on part-way through a month is charged straight away for the new amount.
- If a payment fails, we may pause the service until it is settled.
- Prices can change. We will tell you by email before a change affects your next renewal.
6. Monthly allowances
Each plan and add-on includes a monthly allowance — how many tasks, chats, images, videos and replies it covers, whether you pay monthly or by the year. Allowances reset at the start of each month and do not roll over. The current figures are on your Billing page. We may adjust allowances with notice; we will not cut the allowance you have already paid for in the current month.
7. Video credits
- Video credits are bought in packs, as a one-off payment, on top of a plan.
- One credit buys a fixed number of seconds of rendered video — the rate and the pack sizes are shown on the credits page before you buy.
- Credits expire one year after purchase, and are used oldest first.
- Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refundable once a render has started using them.
- If a render fails through a fault on our side, the credits it used are returned to you.
8. Courses
- A course is bought with one payment, in Malaysian ringgit, separately from the plans. You need an account to buy and watch a course, but not a plan, and a course is not part of any plan. The price is shown on the course page before you pay.
- Lifetime access means you can watch the course through your account for as long as the course is offered on AI Department, with no further payment. The files provided for download are yours to keep. If we ever retire a course, we will tell its buyers by email first, so the files can be downloaded.
- Episodes and files may be released over time. The course page shows, before you pay, how much is published; everything released later is included at no extra cost.
- Courses are not refundable. A course is a digital product that is delivered as soon as you pay, so the payment cannot be refunded, except where the law requires it or where we are unable to give you access to what you paid for.
- A course is for you and your own business. You may use and adapt its templates in your own business. You may not share your login, or copy, resell, publish or pass on the videos or files.
- A course may teach software made by another company. That software, and any paid plan it needs, is bought separately from its maker under the maker’s own terms and is not included in the course price. Our courses are independent: they are not made, sponsored or endorsed by those companies. Such software changes, so its screens and steps may differ from what a course shows.
- A course teaches a method. Like the rest of the service, it does not promise a result (section 10).
9. Cancelling and refunds
- You can cancel at any time from the Billing page, which opens the Stripe billing portal.
- Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for — you keep the service until then, and are not charged again.
- We do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of a month that has already started, and we do not give a free month in its place.
- Yearly plans: if you ask us within 14 days of your first payment for a yearly plan, we refund that payment in full and the plan ends. After those 14 days we do not pro-rate or refund the remainder of the year; cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep the service until the year you paid for ends. Renewals of a yearly plan are not refundable.
- Courses are a one-off purchase and are not refundable — see section 8.
- We may close or suspend an account that breaks these terms, or that we are required to close by law. If we close your account without cause, we refund the unused part of the month (or of the year, on a yearly plan).
10. The work the AI produces
- You own it. As between you and us, the content AI Department produces for you is yours to use, edit, publish and sell, once your account is paid up.
- Check it before you publish it. AI can be wrong, out of date, or produce something close to someone else’s work. Where the AI does not have a fact it marks a placeholder such as
[ADD: ...]or[VERIFY: ...]— those must be filled in or removed by you before the work goes out. You are responsible for what you publish under your own name. - We do not guarantee results. Nothing here promises search rankings, traffic, sales, or that any particular piece of content will perform.
- We do not claim ownership of your business information, your brand, or the content you upload. You give us permission to use them only to run the service for you.
- AI output is not unique to you — similar prompts can produce similar work for other customers.
11. Acceptable use
You agree not to use AI Department to:
- break any law, or infringe anyone’s copyright, trade mark or privacy;
- produce or publish content that is misleading, defamatory, hateful, sexual, or that impersonates a real person or organisation;
- make claims you cannot support — medical, health, financial-return, certification or award claims in particular;
- send unsolicited or unlawful messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you;
- resell the service, share one account across separate businesses, or try to extract the underlying models or bypass allowances.
You are the sender of anything the service sends on your behalf, and you are responsible for having a lawful basis to contact those people.
12. Connecting your other accounts
You may connect accounts you own — WhatsApp Business through Meta, Google Search Console, WordPress and similar. Those remain your accounts, governed by that provider’s own terms, and you must have the right to connect them. We only use the access you grant for the purpose shown when you grant it, and you can disconnect at any time from inside AI Department. What we access and how long we keep it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
13. Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it down for maintenance, and we rely on third parties (AI providers, payment, hosting, messaging) whose outages can affect it. Where an outage stops you using an allowance you paid for, contact us and we will put it right.
14. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law. Subject to that, we are not liable for lost profit, lost revenue, lost data or indirect loss, and our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and update the effective date, and for significant changes we will email you before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.
16. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction over any dispute. Please email admin@verisance.com.my first — most things are settled faster that way.
